Kyosho Models – The incredible history of SCUDERIA FERRARI
Born for Formula 1 Maranello – Scuderia Ferrari is undoubtedly one of the most popular Formula 1 teams of all time even though the current F1 period isnt the one the Tifosi were hoping for. All over the world there are Ferrari clubs in which fans of the racing team organise themselves. When Formula 1 was founded in 1950, Ferrari was one of the first eight car manufacturers to compete for the title. Since then, the Italians have been part of Formula 1 without interruption – longer than any other racing team. Hot Wheels Speed Machines FEATURETTE – Are they worth to buy?
Where it all began: 40 years ago today, Hot Wheels Speed Machines were launched. Speed Machines were a line of vehicles released by Mattel in 1983 to compete with other lower cost diecast brands. They consisted of Hot Wheels castings with a few cost cutting features, such as plastic bases, no chrome apart from the wheels, and simple enamel paint. They began as bores and ended as legends. Rarely have cars had such stellar careers as the four-wheel-drive rally cars Subaru Impreza WRC and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI. Meanwhile, in a country far to the east, a company with the heavyweight name Fuji Heavy Industries was struggling to make its products famous and sought after beyond the rising sun. But Europe hardly took any notice of the Subaru brand’s models, even though they offered clear unique selling points with permanent four-wheel drive and boxer engines. Because the once similarly Audi brand with its Quattros had made its way onto the big boulevards via rally tracks, the Japanese also entered…

Koenigsegg Agera R, RS, ONE:1 – The King of Sweden FEATURETTE
The most powerful super sports car! The Agera R from Koenigsegg was one of the stars of the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. With its 1115 hp, the Koenigsegg had to admit defeat to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (1200 hp). A 5.0 litre V8 mid-engine on only 1330 kg was an absolute challenge! Around 1.4 million Euros had to be put on the table for an Agera R. After the CC models, which really launched the Koenigsegg brand internationally, the Agera R was the next big thing from company founder Christian von Koenigsegg. We had the pleasure of welcoming the Agera R as a Hot Wheels model in numerous variants,…
