TARMAC CARDS by TARMAC WORKS FEATURETTE

Every car has a story

This is the motto with which Tarmacworks is launching its new brand Tarmac Cards in an attempt to bring us collectors and model car fans even closer to the world of cars, which also makes the announcement of the deal with Koenigsegg and Libertywalk all the more timely. This means there is a very good chance that we will see the name Tarmac Cards particularly often with both brands. Koenigsegg, the car manufacturer from Sweden, known for the fastest and most extraordinary vehicles of our time. The other is Libertywalk, which has gained a great deal of notoriety through its blatant conversions. With the motto Every car has a story, tarmac works not only wants to promote partnerships with companies and other manufacturers for its 10th anniversary, but also to remind people of the great models that have already been realised. One of these is undoubtedly the Pagani Zonda R. Particularly striking are the really elaborate designs, which already look extremely good in the regular version.

Supercars or hypercars, tuners or road cars: Tarmac Cards will take a closer look at many different vehicles, such as the Pagani Zonda R.

Card Variations

As mentioned earlier, there are different versions of the cards. From the outside, the cards are still inconspicuously packaged in a black bag. The sticker indicates that these versions are still concept packs and are not yet officially available to buy in shops. In contrast to the Libertywalk pack, the so-called Event Special Pack Vol.1, which is already available to buy on Tarmacworks.com. It contains 4 maps, whereby there are different variants.

The Taramac Cards Concept Pack is delivered in a case. You can find the unboxing on our latest YouTube video at the end of this article.

For example, the card about the founder of Libertywalk Wataru Kato is available as a normal version or, as here, with a silver prizm effect. Every eighth card would be available with this limited special effect, in the Carbon Edition only every twelfth card and in the Disco Glimmer look only every twenty-fifth! They even come with serial numbers and, in the ultimate case, are even signed. Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky, but at least Wataru Kato's card was drawn as a silver Prizm. The Libertywalk pack also contains more information about the Libertywalk company, Wataru Kato himself and the vehicles!

Inno64 has just released the famous LBWK F40 in 1:64 scale. We are excited to see what models Tarmacworks will be aiming for in the future.

Card Types

The pack contains various types of cards. Starting with the base cards, which depict the car on the front and feature lots of technical data on the back. Then there are also themed cards that tell more about the history of this series. There are also Special Editions, cards that have a very special value or have been signed by the people in question. The fourth variant, the Combo Cards, are very interesting. These combo cards come in collaboration with the Tarmacworks model cars we are used to. The orange Koenigsegg Jesko has already been announced in collaboration with Tarmac Cards, and the CC850 should certainly also be delivered as a model from Tarmacworks.
