A star was born!
In early summer 2016, the car company based in Molsheim, France, left fans and supercar enthusiasts speechless with a very special announcement! Bugatti is launching a successor to the Veyron, which will eclipse everything with even more incredible performance data: 1500 hp, 440 km/h top speed and just over 2 seconds from zero to 100! Around 450 units were to be produced within three years. Its modernised 8-litre 16-cylinder W engine produced around 300 hp more than the aforementioned now legendary Chiron, which already broke records in its day. At that time at 2016, the basic price was over 2.65 million euros to place an order for a Bugatti Chiron
An engineering masterpieceβ¦
As the Pur Sport special model, limited to 60 units, it is a real showpiece with its design finesses at the front, rear and flanks, and not just visually. Its strength lies in its impressive driving dynamics. A flat front with a large splitter, powerful air intakes, striking wheel arch ventilation, extended diffuser and a fixed rear wing with a span of 1.90 metres provide significantly more downforce. In addition, the engineers minimised the weight of the new hypercar by 50 kilograms. All these additional measures do not exactly make this vehicle cheaper: the basic price of this masterpiece was around 3.5 million euros excluding taxes back in 2020.
Attention to detailβ¦
It is all the more impressive how accurately MiniGT was able to realise this masterpiece in 1:64 scale in such a perfect manner. The visible carbon elements look so impressively realistic that you might think they used real carbon material. Even the rear lights are not just simply painted. The massive rear lightbar look as if the vehicle has actually started the engine due to the red viewing glass. As with every MiniGT model, we can be pleased that the vehicle rolls relatively well on the ground and keeps its track pretty straight. The workmanship is excellent and leaves no doubt that this model simply has to belong in every collection!
