More than 2150 PCS – LetBricks 1/8 Scale Lotus 99T of Ayrton Senna

A racing legend to build step by step: From Alfa Romeo 179 to Tyrrell P34 6-Wheeler, Lotus 79 or Ferrari 126C2: thanks to RoscoPC, we can assemble these legendary F1 models ourselves. As MOCs, or My Own Creations, these are building block models developed and built by a genius like RoscoPC himself and made available to the wider market. Behind RoscoPC was Luca Rusconi from Italy, a Lego Technic Formula One Builder, as he called himself that way on his website. RESIN vs DIECAST – Can you spot the differences? – Koenigsegg Featurette

Spoilt for choice: Do you still remember the Agera R? It wasn’t even that long ago that Koenigsegg unveiled its flagship model. At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Agera R turned the eyes of horsepower fans and even took the crown as the most powerful super sports car at the show. We’ve been there live in 2011 and were absolutely thrilled by the latest creation from Christian von Koenigsegg 14 years ago. The design of the Agera R has remained absolutely timeless. This Koenigsegg model is also very popular among collectors, especially in full carbon fibre like this Agera RS. However, with its 1115 hp, the Koenigsegg was narrowly…

The end of Godzilla – Nissan Skyline GTR R35 FEATURETTE

The inevitable has happened… Nissan bids a fond farewell to the legendary GT-R. No sooner has it come of age than it must die. After 18 years of production, the last R35 has now rolled off the assembly line in Japan. Around 48,000 units have been built at the Tochigi plant since 2007. The last model is a T-Spec in the Premium Edition in Midnight Purple, which is destined for a customer in Japan. If you see the glass as half full, this is only a temporary farewell. Ivan Espinosa, CEO of Nissan, assures enthusiasts that Godzilla will rise again. Let’s hope it will be a gasoline-powered car with all…

From RB30 engines to scaled modelcars – JDM MEET FEATURETTE

How it all started: On 10 August this year in Matten near Interlaken, it was that time again. The 2024 car meet for Japanese car fans was organised at the airfield for the fifth time. But for the first time, the fifth anniversary event was not only accompanied by food shops, but also by stands that had nothing to do with food as well. And this is where our model car shop came into play: we have been selling various scaled modelcars from various manufacturers and brands under our partner Doramas for several years. The link to the webshop can be found at the end of this article or directly…

Legacy of Nissan Skyline GTR R34 – JDM FEATURETTE

The Skyline Culture: The roots of the Nissan Skyline GT-R go back to 1969, when Nissan introduced the Skyline 2000 as the “2000 GT-R” sports version. At the time, the Japanese car, which was powered by an in-line six-cylinder, had 160 hp and weighed only 1,100 kilograms, was Nissan’s reaction to American muscle cars. The attempt failed to some extent, the GT-R sold rather sluggishly due to the oil crisis in the 1970s and was discontinued in 1973. (Today, however, the so-called “shoe boxes”, Hakosuka, are traded in good condition for well over 200,000 Euros). It was not until 1989 that project manager Kozo Watanabe decided to offer a GT-R…
