Tiniest FIRST PERSON VIEW Remote Car EVER? – Sniclo Micro FVP FEATURETTE

A whole new perspective!

Who doesn't dream of this: to feel like a toy for once in their life? Of course the Toy Story films made us wonder back then. How would it feel to be loved by your owner, or even more interesting: what does everything look like from down there? Thanks to Sniclo, we can finally find out!

Our first FPV experience!

Each SNT model is available in many different colours.

If you haven't heard of this brand before, you'll be amazed by now! Because the guys at Sniclo offer a whole range of vehicles in 1:64 scale (or slightly larger, 1:100) that can be manoeuvred by remote control. At first glance, this doesn't sound particularly innovative, but it suddenly changes when you realise that the vehicle can be equipped with an FPV camera. This can be magnetically docked onto the car and offers an optimal view through the 2.5mm 130 degree lens. FPV therefore stands for "First Person View" and provides you an absolute unique driving experience!

This camera then transmits the image to an FPB HD goggle to immerse you in the virtual world.
It is very comfortable and does not give any feeling of motion sickness due to the sharp fluid image. The SNT Q25 Series R27 Micro FPV based on the Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR was our absolute first experience with this product. You can browse through each vehicle with all available options on their website. Just click on the button at the end of the article!

The journey continued

Same in concept, very different in design: The Q25 series from SNT

Everything works wirelessly. The glasses and the car are charged separately via the cable supplied, the remote control runs on battery power. With the camera in place, the car drives for around 30 minutes at a time, without the gadgets even for an hour according to the manufacturer. The Type-C Charging System even has the advantage that the vehicle can be charged via various devices in addition to the usual socket. The remote control automatically finds the vehicle, if not, it can be transmitted directly by pressing a button.

Our next experience was the SNT Q25 Series 2000 GT Micro FPV, which is based on the Toyota 2000 GT and has a scale of 1:100 like its predecessor. This one comes with additional goodies like keychains and stickers when you order the complete package. When driving, you will quickly notice how interactive the car is. For example when you are changing lanes, the car flashes every time. When you step on the brake again, the brake lights come on! The parking / and driving lights can also be adjusted. Together with the Q25 240 and R27 Skyline, the three are an absolutely unbeatable trio!

Off into the terrain!

The first SNT Sniclo model in 1:64 scale and even with four-wheel drive

With the SNT Y60 1:64 3005 Patrol Off-Road Series Micro FPV based on the Nissan Patrol, Sniclo ventured into completely new terrain! This masterpiece actually has permanent four-wheel drive. Be sure to check out our attempt at driving this model over a real car:

In addition, this model offers two views. If the camera is placed in the front, the driver sees the entire road. If necessary, the camera can be positioned in the rear. This way we can see the bonnet and better judge the distance in the terrain. Thanks to the all-wheel drive and the generous individual suspension, practically any obstacle can be overcome!

The fastest of them all!

Pink looks very good on the Q25 in the style of the Nissan 370Z. Also available in white!

The SNT 370Z 1:100 2009 Q25 Series, based on the Nissan 370Z, is agile and fast. Charged up within an hour, the car can be whizzed around corners within a 20-metre radius. The underbody lighting gives the model even more attractive touch!

The all-rounder!

The SNT Wrangler has been improved again compared to the Y60 Patrol.

In 1:64 scale, Sniclo offers the latest vehicle in the Micro RC family, the SNT Wrangler 1:64 3010 Off-Road Series Micro FPV. This is based on the Jeep Wrangler and offers a great alternative to the other 4x4 SNT model, the Nissan Patrol. This Jeep is the first 1/64 4WD model with simultaneous suspension, which has been further developed. Compared to the Nissan Patrol, the suspension has become much more stable. The ground clearance has been improved again, making off-road driving over hill and dale child's play.
