Tarmacworks Pagani Zonda R / Revolucion – A piece of art FEATURETTE

Craftsmanship in absolute perfection:

A perfect definition that seems to have been created for the Pagani car brand from Italy, but which certainly applies to the true-to-scale version by Tarmacworks. Both know their craft like no other.
Since hardly any "normal mortal person" can afford the sinfully expensive original Pagani in his garage with its adjoining wine cellar, it makes sense to resort to the very detailed 1/64th scale reproductions from Tarmacworks. The now legendary non-street legal Pagani Zonda R is one of them. A true poem on four wheels, a masterpiece of engineering and mechanical finesse!

The Pagani Zonda R Special Edition with full carbon body

Loud, brute and record-breakingly fast!

Beneath the silhouette of the noble exotic, which is largely made of carbon fibre, the AMG twelve-cylinder V-engine with 750 hp and 710 Nm of maximum torque, which was once also used in the Mercedes CLK-GTR. With this stats, the rear-wheel drive Zonda R should sprint to 100 km/h in 3 seconds with a V-max of 345 km/h and a weight ratio of just around 1,070 kilograms.
Only 15 units were built between 2009 and 2011 at a price cap of more than 2 million euros.
There is just one little problem: the lack of road approval! The Zonda R can only be tamed on the race circuits, where it set a track record on 30 June 2010 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife with a time of 6.47,5 minutes over a distance of 20.8 km.

R-adical meets R-evolucion?

Pagani gave its ultimate supercar, the Zonda, a fitting send-off. At the end of its career, the the Italians upgraded the Pagani Zonda R and produced a special "Revolucion" model. At the same weight, the six-litre AMG V12 engine now produces 800 hp instead of the 750 hp of the predecessor Zonda R. In addition, the aerodynamics have been visibly optimised - along with numerous changes to the spoiler all around. Compared to the rare Zonda R (15 units), only 5 units were part of the Revolucion Family with a price tag of around 2.6 million euros.

All variants at a glance...

Almost deliberately alternating, Tarmacworks brings us Zonda R and Zonda Revolucion models at regular intervals. Starting with the Zonda R in gold/black released in July 2021, further models of this type were produced in the course of 2021 and 2022. This also includes the "full carbon version" as a special edition of the Nürburgring record holder. On the other hand, the Zonda Revolucion variants were produced in white (Bianco Benny) with sponsors as well as blue and black/silver. Each colour variant has its own fine details and is therefore an absolute must for fans of the Italian noble brand! The whole process around the Zonda family in that way is something that will surely never exist a second time in this world!
